Airtel TRULY UNLIMITED PLAN

Recently, The Supreme court of India gave judgement in favour of Telecom Department of India in AGR case. Where some 15 telcos need to pay over Rs 1.47 lakh crore. Which could rise further, The government has said. Industry estimates peg the money owed by non-telecom companies, which hold nearly 3500 licences, at around Rs 2.28 lakh crore. 

Now, the due amount for Airtel, Vodafone and Idea is too much high for them. 
And they are trying to get relief from it. So they recently changed their recharge plan. After them, Jio has also announced many new plans on 6th December 2012.  It means all telecom companies have hiked their prices on the basis of FUP (Fair Usage Policy).

New plan for Airtel Customer

If you are an Airtel customer, It means, You have started paying the new rates from 3rd December. The Rs 129 pack of 28 days unlimited calling, 300 SMS, and 2GB data would cost Rs 148. Airtel's Rs 998 plan with 336 days validity, unlimited calling, 3500 SMS and 12 GB data has been replaced by 1498 plan, marking 50 per cent rise, with 24 GB data and 365-day validity. 
The users of Rs 1699 plan would have to pay Rs 2398, which is an increase of 41 per cent. It would continue to offer unlimited calling, 100 SMS and 1.5 GB data per day. Airt had merged Rs 169 and Rs 199 for 28 days to offer a Rs 248 plan with same benefits --unlimited calling, 100 SMS and 1.5GB data per day. 

Airtel also announced new truly unlimited Plan.  

After changing prices, Airtel also came with the new truly unlimited plan, which is offering unlimited calling on any network without any FUP limit. 
Airtel said that Airtel has launched new truly unlimited plan because they promise to their customer for it. 
Airtel has launched three new plan with truly unlimited benefits at Rs 219, Rs 399 and Rs 449. these plans offer unlimited calling to any network in India and also fill the gaps introduced by the telco with its new prepaid plans. The 291 prepaid plan by Airtel comes with 1 GB daily data. 100 SMS and 28 days validity. The Rs 399 and 449 options offer 1.5 GB data and 2 GB of data per day, along with 100 and 90 daily SMS respectively. Both the plans are valid for 56 days.
